g3nn's Anyhow Cookings I

Wanna learn my new recipe? Ok just bare the consequences! Hehehe...

1. Bitter-mushy Spaghetti

Ingredients:-
:: Bitter-gord - 1 biji. Seasoned it with a bit of salt? I forgot if I did...
:: Mushroom - I think around 5 of small-medium size
:: Garlic sprout - I've only seen this in here, but I'm sure there are some out there. They look like spring onion, but smell of garlics. 3 batang.
:: Onion and garlic - Almost in every dish.:: Spring onion - For the deco?
:: Seasoned minced pork - seasoned with flour, soya sauce, pepper and sesame oil.
:: Spaghetti

Frankly it was done last week not sure if I still remember the steps. Ha!

Let's assumed the spaghetti is well ready to be served.

1. Always fry onion and garlic first for the nice essence.
2. Carry on with bitter gord and mushroom when onion and garlic got almost overcooked (half chao tah...) :P
3. Add a bit of salt at this point so that the bitter gord taste better with saltiness instead of just being bitter.
4. Erm... Then fry fry fry... Oh the meat! Ok now pour in the minced meat and fry fry fry.
5. Make sure the meat doesn't get overcooked (too).
6. When all dishes are well cooked, pour in half of a small bowl of water (for the gravy). Maybe slightly more.
7. Continue to stir-fried your dish for a while then Add in the spaghetti at this point.
8. Last step, Stir-fry the spaghetti until when the gravy is about to disappear!
9. Food is ready to be served with some well-cut spring onion toppings!

Not that bad mah...

2. Err... Tomato soup soak rice. -_- Doesn't sound good by the name... Ha!

Ingredients:-
:: Tomatoes - 7 biji!
:: Chicken (drum stick because breasts are expensive here. I mean "chicken" breasts...) - 1
:: Onion - 2 biji. The onions here are bigger than KL's. I think it's a 1:1.5 ratio...
:: Cabbage - This I forgot to put in that day.
:: What else... Oh rice of course.

I'm just lazy to cook any other dishes to go with the rice...

1. Boil water, throw in all well-cut tomatoes, onions and cabbages.
2. Boil till all food in there turns really soft, add in chicken.
3. Add some salt to bring out the taste of tomato.
4. Keep boiling for another half an hour and your soup is served!
5. Add some rice in it and here goes your dinner.
6. To achieve higher digestive manner, have yourself a cup of lemon + honey drink.

Some may experience constant tummy-ache as the aftermath. Do believe it is a good sign that this Tomato soak rice is taking the effect of cleaning your system! (Yah right...)

Short Tour - City

Got a feeling I'm turning this into a photo blog... I'm sure there's some better photo blog provider out there but why am I sticking to blogger when uploading reasonably huge images seem so slow...

Anyway, when to the City last Sunday.

This is the main train station right in the middle of the city. The infamous Flinders Street Station so I was told.

Then some sceneries on the street...

Then some structures...

That's a tram behind. That's what usually causes traffic jam instead of traffic lights back there in KL.

More structures that some of you might like to see... Forgot the name of the building, but it's actually an art museum that exhibits motion images.

The close-up ...

More sceneries... I think that is the busiest cross junction in the city. It's right in front of Flinders Street Station.

So nice to be sitting under shades...

More structures... Apparently this is called the Australian Racing Museum.

And its closed-up...

I feel being in a desert standing here. Maybe that's the concept the design of this area is trying to portray.

Yarra River.

Walking across Yarra River, heading to Crown casino... Did I say casino?!?! Erm... It's called Crown Entertainment Complex ;)
