Hawthorn is where I am...

I first reached my friend's house, almost unsafely, but am here now. Can't believe we missed the first flight to Melbourne. Well, long story, But till now, it has been a couple of days running around suburbs to suburbs.

I wasn't quite allowed to take a clear picture of the Blackburn house.

Hawthorn House from car park view.

Shifted in to my room finally on the 2nd day I reached. I've not entirely packed up my clothing luggage yet to be frank...

Here are some pictures I got from their brochure that are exactly what it is now.

Nice kitchen area I like the most! spacious and bright, 2 gas stoves, 2 microwaves, 2 rice cooker, few toasters, electric kettle.... and all the sufficient basic utensils for everybody there.

These are the blue sofas you see on the kitchen picture. This is where we have our self-cooked watching some local tv programs.

Laundry area that I have yet to utilize it. Not that I'm wearing dirty clothes ok. My friend has offered to do my laundry at her house.

This is the backyard. They consider me lucky to be getting a room facing the backyard garden coz it's more cooling during summer. There's a small pond with tiny fountain right in front of where I'm facing right now. Privacy is maintained as people don't walk to the bushes peeping through the tinted windows of the rooms. I don't really see people getting to the backyard nowadays, perhaps the weather...

Then here goes those I took myself.

Yes I think I do look insant in those pictures. And true enough I do love this cozy and convenient place with nice house mates around, but do wish that I get to shift out in half year time, for a cheaper place?

This place is just as convenient to me as described in this picture.

A gentle reminder to my aunties and cousins, do obtain your pictures in my previous CNY post if you want them.

What I left behind II - CNY 2007

It's not just CNY 2007, it's one of a kind...

I can't just thank the Best Worlders. Here goes to all of you who are so closely related to me!

~ ~ ~

My family that is, always devoted and supportive to every personal endeavor I made.

(The first few pictures of theirs with my Panosonic Lumix...)

At Ding Tai Fung

Always in good shape despite being Carnivorous mostly!

Maybe it's the "thang" of acting cool in their age... -_-

Not forgetting Toby that seems friendlier and Hyper each time!

~ ~ ~

My relative that were, awesomely positive and encouraging over my prompt decision.

Oh never mind the leg-crossing rituals, aunties...

Now this looks friendlier though...

The energetic bunch of us!

They say we look alike, but I don't think this picture here justify the statement.

Our ever dearest ady(a.k.a. eddy)-boy who is here to represent his papa & mama.

Here comes the long-awaited ang pao session! But I somehow feel it's more favored by the contributors...

The rule is, 10 CNY greetings and you're off with your ang pao. But the main "rule" is, just amuse them la!

Look who's lucky number one...

Look at Caren... The best example of 笑到见牙不见眼!

Pickpocket???

And here goes the angpao-giving ceremony solely just me.... -_-

Thank you, Dua Ee.

Thank you, 2 Ee.

Thank you, 4ee!

Thank you, Ber ee.

They love taking pictures, don't they?

Special dedications of the below pictures to my cousins...

Chia Lei. Thanks for putting up a great night despite not having your other siblings around.

The Wong's sisters: Sue Rose, Sue Ern and Sue Zanne that didn't turn up for the CHor 2 gathering. I got your ang pao though. Thanks, 5 Ee!

Sweet Adriel that is getting more shapely and slimmer each day! Wow!

How can I left her out! A complicated one, or not so... Just... She really is a cousin of mine anyway...

What I left behind - A Farewell Note

Dear Best Worlders,

As many of you probably know, tomorrow, 8th February 2007 will be my last day of work at Best World. I am leaving to take on greener pastures to further my studies in yet another foreign land, Australia.

It has been my esteemed honor to be part of the team and I thank every one of you that have made my career in this company worthwhile.

You have all been a great help and support to me, and I have made some fine friendships here, which I will always cherish.

I’d like to especially acknowledge my gratitude to my superior in IT department: -

Jorina & Sugi, thank you for all opportunities and guidance, most importantly your constant reminder and forgiveness for my wrong-doings.

While I shall miss Best World badly, it is time to take what I’ve learned in the past and apply it to the next stage of my life.

If you’d like to stay in touch, you can email me at something@something.com, add me to your msn at something@hotmail.com (p/s: this email address is solely for MSN).

I wish you plenty of smiles always.

With most sincere respect and admiration,
~Me~
